County Parks are operated by the Parks & Recreation Department.
The Parks & Recreation Department offers programs to the community such as:
Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Football, Flag Football, Soccer, Softball,
Special Olympics, Swimming Lessons, Golf Lessons, Tennis Lessons, Basketball,
Flag Football, Softball, and Volleyball.
Cabin Lake County Park is amongst the most popular. The park is open year-round
for camping, hiking, fishing, boating, and picnicking. The swim Beach includes
a constructed sand beach with a roped off area for swimming. A lifeguard is
on duty during summer swimming months. Restrooms are located throughout the
park. Showers are located at the swim beach and camping area. A public phone
and vending machines are available as well. Cabin Lake County Park has two playground
areas and multiple picnic tables. Its 69 acre lake is surrounded by a 2.2 mile
hiking trail.
